Delta Camp - One of the original luxury Camps in the Okavango, managed in a very eco-friendly way. Accommodates up to 16 people in luxury 'lethaka' (reed) chalets. Safaris by mokoro (they refuse to use the fibre glass mekoro favoured by many lodges, and still use the traditional mekoro hewn from the trunk of a tree) and Walking Safaris. Abu Camp - Elephant back safaris, quite unique, but probably the most expensive Safari Lodge in the Whole of Africa! An amazingly beautiful Camp with luxurious custom-designed tents raised on teak platforms with bathrooms that include huge copper baths! not to mention the huge elephants you ride on! Legendary Randal Moore no longer manages the camp and Abu sadly died in 2003. $$$$$ Request info

Camp Okavango - situated on the remote Nxaragha Island, accommodates 22 people in walk-through Safari tents. Oddballs - A legend amongst travellers to Africa. One of just two campsites actually in the Okavango (the other is Gunn's Camp). Oddballs probably provides the best 'Okavango experience' if you don't mind roughing it a bit. African Horseback Safaris
- situated on the western side of the Okavango Delta, this camp accommodates just 10 persons in large twin-bedded tents with en-suite shower and toilet. Only experienced riders are accepted since one spends 4 - 6 hours a day in the saddle, and you may be required to gallop out of a 'tricky situation', so beginners are not taken. Other activities include game drives, bird walks, night drives and mokoro excursions. $$$ Request info

Okavango Horse Safaris - accommodating just 8 persons in spacious safari tents with veranda and shower en suite. Bedrolls with cotton sheets, duvet and towels provided. Xaranna Tented Camp

Xaranna Tented Camp will open in June 2008 with eight suites, with the possibility of expanding to 12 at a later stage. Each suite will have a private plunge pool and open-sided pavilion.  The concession is 25 000 hectares in size and access will be via an airstrip, 20 minutes away from Maun, followed by a 45-minute game drive or boat ride to the lodge.

Activities will include mekoro rides, boat safaris, walks, and both day and night game drives.

Xudum Delta Lodge
Xudum Delta Lodge will also open in June 2008 with eight suites with the possibility of expanding to 12 later on. Each will have a private plunge pool and a 'lofty hideout'. There will be two main guest areas and four satellite guest areas to guarantee privacy. Access is via the same airstrip as Xaranna Tented Camp, but Xudum is located only a 20-minute game drive away.

Activities will include mekoro rides, boat safaris, walks, and both day and night game drives.

The Power Station - Situated right in the centre of Town, this is a vibrant entertainment complex comprising cinema, bar, restaurant, internet café, arts & crafts centre, pool tables and theatre. It has a basic campsite on the complex (just turn-up no booking required), and the offices of Okavango Tours & Safaris at the entrance to the Power station can organise trips into the Delta. Cresta Riley's Hotel - In the centre of Town, this once superb 'colonial style' hotel has become just another homogenous Cresta  Hotel. It is central and comfortable, so if you have to do a short 'overnight' in Maun it is probably your best bet! $ Request info
